True. Although…I thought that both situations were a little different.
Regina sort of gave up hope. She had once found her identity in Daniel, (in a way.) He was her love. When he was gone, she felt that there was no hope anymore for that path. So she moved down a darker one. It seemed that as Rumpel was pulling her in this direction, that Daniel was the only thing holding her back. When Rumpel removed him, she did what he wanted from her… thinking that this was the only way to find happiness again/make up for what she’d lost. But she had no reason to kill the girl. No just reason, anyway.
Rumpel seems to do all the wrong things for the right reasons. He had a right to be angry at Milah, but not one to kill her. That was his character choice– but it was coming from a place of just anger. This is what makes his character interesting. What he did was wrong, and he chose to do it, I guess that is what both have in common.
But overall, you’re right, I think.
