Does anyone else besides me believe that Maleficent isn’t really dead? That’s she’s going to rise like a phoenix from the ashes. In Disney’s Sleeping Beauty, Prince Phillip kills her with a throw of his sword, reminicent of Emma’s same doing. But we see her afterward advising Regina to give up on the vengence. Maybe she has some kind of curse, similar to Rumple’s, that she can only be truly killed in a certain manner. Maybe slicing the head off or something. I think on the first episode back, we may see her emerge through the doors of the library, hale and hearty.
