Hm.. He hates his father, killed his wife and let his son fall in a bottomless hole to stay safe himself 😕 wouldn’t exactly call it that, but maybe thats just me 😉

Ok, what I really meant was he if he loves someone, he is very loyal to them- not always in a healthy way. He wanted to hurt anyone who hurt Bae. Yes, he let Bae go, but only because of his immense addiction to magic and his fear of being without it. He immediately regretted it afterwards and created the whole curse to get him back. When Belle lost her memories, he was so distraught that he threatened to kill the Charmings if any harm came to her. That’s what I was referring to- I guess “fiercely loyal” wasn’t really the right choice of words. He is also very vengeful if someone betrays him.
