My guess is they really wanted Josh Holloway and it was cheaper to let ABC in on the profits rather than buy out his contract (again, just speculation) and if that’s the case then it makes it a partial ABC show which gives them the chance to bring in Meghan as well (but she can still pop into OUAT a bunch hopefully, especially for the random little scenes she usually does). I wonder if the new show will film in Vancouver? (Maybe after it’s picked up if it is…cause that would make it even easier for her to stop by and Vancouver is quickly becoming the go-to place to film…) Still seems weird but I guess not entirely out of the realm of possibility. I can’t blame them for wanting Josh 😉
