His emotions can be his strength, too. I’m not saying Rumple /Gold doesn’t have some things to learn. Clearly, he needs to manage his anger better, and open his heart to love, trust people, among other things … Hey, he’s been through a lot in his centuries of living! But these are all possible. I see him being reflective, and thoughtful, and capable of learning new things. He can recover. I am so looking forward to seeing his character grow! He can have it all –love, happiness, joy, comfort, company along with that good life he’s got as Storybrooke’s 1%. Now if they can just break Belle out of the dungeon!
