I know that the hood Belle wears is made of the same fabric as the curtains, but isn’t it possible (although less poetic) that the curtains didn’t get nailed up until after Belle had arrived? If she arrived in say… fall, maybe he nailed them up later (not fond of winter, maybe) and she tried to take them down in the spring? I realize it’s not as cute as if they’d been there for years, but it’s still physcally possible. Maybe there were just extra curtains lying around somewhere for that cloak. XD
I’m now going to spend time speculating as to why Rumplestiltskin would hate the winter in particular. >.>
edit to daybreak_fairy: Hey, Belle herself describes love as being “many layered”. So maybe one of those layers is “You’re not so bad” followed by “What on earth is wrong with you” and just underneath that is “You’re just a sweetheart aren’t you” and then “What did I ever see in you”? Of course the only layer the fans are concerned about is the one just under the leather pants. 😉
