Looks like they are actually casting the spinoff and planning to film it in April.:
If this is indeed a direct spin-off: I think the casting call for Alice kills any theories about Jack or any other existing character doubling as Alice. Would be interesting if Barbara Hershey reprised her role as the Queen of Hearts as a recurring role.
