They’re just not going to give up until we know for sure that Mysterious Man is both Baelfire and Henry’s dad. In fact, if someone wanted to wager what color hair Barrett will have, I would probably take them up on the bet because until we know for sure about Mysterious Man Bae/Henry’s dad, I’m guessing they’ll keep casting guys with brown hair.
Also, I’m expecting the synopsis and promos for episode 6 and episode 9 to try to try to keep misdirecting fans. So I think episode 6, they’ll make it seem like someone else is the baby daddy like Captain Hook. Then, before episode 9 which I think will be Mysterious Man’s episode, they’ll try to throw people off that he’s someone other than Bae.
Honestly (and I’m going to have to go back and re-read Quinn’s bio) this sounds more like the Merlin I know. Highly intelligent. Does get credited for helping the ‘good’ guys through a lot of bad situations and can definitely be viewed as kind. But he is also capable of doing a lot of dark things as long as he felt they helped the greater good – for the kingdom. I’d kind of like to see Merlin coming off as an antagonist in ONCE- for awhile at least. 😀
I’m going to (for now) say that Quinn is really going to be the ONCE version of The Sorcerer’s Apprentice and Barrett is Merlin.
This makes the most sense to me since Quinn is suppose to be fairly young and in need of a group to protect him.
