I just listened to it. I think it confirmed things we already suspected, not sure what spoliers there were other than one line about Hook backstory next week, but that seemed a given with the ending of this episode .
They spent a lot of time on Bae and what a tragic and heroic figure he is. I’ve seen people call him a coward but A&E flat out said he was brave. They also talked about how important that moment with the Darlings was for Bae. It was really the first time he could be a kid and relax.
I do think he is meant to be the Peter Pan figure in the story, but definitely in reverse. He doesn't want to go to NL but does so to save Wendy. I also think Hook is not going to be a villain but his mentor there in NL because NL is B-A-D. I don't think he's having fun adventures there, but fighting for his life more or less.
