The curved blade of the sword seemed Asian to me, and the hat looks like a woman's bonnet to me, not a pirate hat. Maybe I'm just looking at it from the wrong angle, because it's certainly the right colour to be DisneyHook's hat…but I can't un-see that bonnet now.

The ABC drama has tapped the Irish thesp to join the Season 2 cast in the potentially recurring role of Captain Hook, TVLine has confirmed.
Considering that Adam and Eddy have said Peter Pan is a fave story of theirs, I doubt they'd introduce major characters from that story and not give them significant roles.
