Poor Moe, that is if he didn’t do all that to Belle. His daughter voluntarily left to save the village and he would never see her again. Then the curse hits. So now as a man with no memories of his former life, he’s tricked by the mayor into stealing from the most powerful man in town. Then that same man beats him almost to death while screaming stuff about “her” that he had no idea what he’s talking about. Then his memories are lifted. Just think, he’ll probably thinking, “Rumplestiltskin…Belle…beating…wtf….gone…,” and so on. I think he’ll try to seek her out after the dust settles and it becomes known that Gold has a “friend” now. Who knows, maybe she’ll seek he father out. I would love to see the meeting between Gold and Moe. However, if Maurice did order all the stuff on Belle, I don’t care if Gold lets loose again on that guys…behind.
