I’m wondering if that pocket watch that was given to Gerhardt will come back into play as being a portal device, (similar to Jefferson’s hat), that was used by the White Rabbit. If, say, Viktor’s grandfather (original owner of the watch) had been the White Rabbit, then he’d know about jumping between worlds, which is why he didn’t freak out when he saw Rumple.
