But it still comes down to how did August knew it controled the dark one, he wasn’t around with Rumple was locked up everyone else was under the curse.
August knew about the dagger because HE HAD READ THE BOOK– remember he planted his own story in there after he stole it from Henry’s hiding place, so he knew all about it from there- if not before.
We still dunno exactly how much of Rumple’s story was in the book. Given that Henry hadn’t figured out who he was, it’s safe to say that there wasn’t an overwhelming amount of info about him in there. August did have a drawing of the dagger though, and that was something separate from the book.
My plot holes include:
How did SB get supplies etc.if no ‘real world’ people could find SB- there’s no way they could have been totally self sufficient
This bugged me up until Welcome to Storybrooke, after which it appeared likely that it was a construct of the curse to keep everything replenished. Each day looped to a certain extent, but things still progressed over the years as things like technology and fashion updated. “It’s magic” is the simplest explanation. The curse took care of them and made sure they remained fed. You’d think they’d be running low on supplies now since the curse breaking, though.
How Henry got into SB from the ‘real world’ if SB doesn’t even exist even on a map.
How did Henry even leave SB to go find Ema in the 1st place- it’s not like he caught the night bus outta SB, or hitched a ride? 😕 😕 😕
I figure he just rode his bike to the nearest town that had a legit bus stop.
If Snow & Emma needed the compass in order for the FTL portal to send them to our world (I assume because they jumped in without a vessel), why then didn’t GOT need an indicator to get to NL? Or Bae to our world? *cough convenient cough* 😉
Snow and Emma’s portal was unique. It was made with ashes from the wardrobe, so it didn’t operate the same way that fully functioning bean portals do, so they needed the compass to help it determine their destination.
ETA: Didn’t see RG’s post before I submitted mine. Get out of my brain. 😆
