Thanks daybreak_fairy – I knew she had wanted to go into the hat- I think maybe a few things possibly slipped under K&H noses 😕 otherwise we’ll soon find out- to me you cant connect to something if it no-longer exists.
Kind of like making a phone call- to make a call you need a phone (point A/ SB), away to get your signal (dial tone/ Yourself) to connect via Cables (Hat) to another phone (Point B/ FTL), so it will ring & be received. If you disconnect point B phone (FTL), your Point A phone’s (SB) Signal (person) wont connect & will be dropped.
So for the Hat to connect to FTL, FTL must exist, otherwise it has nothing to connect to.
Regina had already enacted the curse when she wanted to go back to FTL, so had disconnected FTL from SB- why would she want to use a dead signal that may leave her in limbo & let Emma & Snow win, unless she knew the Hat would indeed have something to connect to.
