I seem to be the only one but I always assumed that Belle did get home and did get shunned by her father and locked in the tower but then instead of jumping off she got kidnapped by EQ and the shunningness made her go kinda crazy and that’s why she’s in the mental ward place. I don’t know if anyone else thinks this could be possible. I thought that might make it cool when Mr Gold finds her because then there would be lots of potential for really sweet and sad scenes with Mr Gold trying to ‘bring her back’.
