I hope Rumpel doesn’t die in the end. I want to see him work for redemption instead of simply being killed and saved by true love’s kiss. I loved that Rumpel made an effort to be honest with Belle in last week’s episode and I’d like to see more of that. I want Rumpel to achieve true redemption instead of something rushed or unbelievable. That’s my main problem with Regina’s redemption arc. It’s not believable for me because it’s too rushed. I like that the writers are taking their time with Rumpel. He’s complex character and his journey to redemption should be equally complex.
