Interesting. I didn’t hear that Once Upon a Time named Dr. Whale after influential, gay horror director James Whale (who was brought to life on film by Sir Ian McKellan in Gods and Monsters. Does that make him an honorary gay since Storybrooke seems to be lacking in queer people?
