I also thought that Midas would turn Frederick into Gold on purpose, but after this episode and Kathryn didn’t say anything about it and Frederick didn’t seem to know what happened to him made me think maybe it was an accident. They could do whatever they want with that story though.
I do still say that Snow and Charming are only the leaders of their kingdoms. It is possible that Thomas’ father’s kingdom is already under Snow and Charming, we don’t really know. Thomas’ father was still alive at the time of the curse though and i don’t think he would make Charming his heir even though Thomas had gone missing especially because Cinderella was pregnant. And all i was saying is that Regina still has control of Snow’s castle so she still has some power there even if Snow and Charming have the people on their side.
