No way is Neal married, or even divorced with kids. If he had kids there would be evidence of them in his apartment, even if they didn’t live with him.
I still think he’s running away because she probably called him Baelfire. I think he’s going to want to stay as far away from Rumplestiltskin as possible, but it’s ultimately not going to happen. The catalyst to get his butt into Storybrooke will be Henry. So far we know the thought of Emma alone still isn’t enough to bring him back just yet, but once he finds out about his son I bet he’s going to high tail it to Maine.
