@hjbau: Didn’t the Mad Hatter say he lived alone to Emma in one of the spoilers? She remarked on the size of his house and how he must have a huge family. But, he said it was just him living there. That makes me question where his daughter would be in SB. In an orphanage? But then, we know there isn’t a foster care system in SB, based on what we know from ep. 9. Could Jefferson’s daughter be living with other relatives? Could it be she was trapped in Wonderland the entire time, but will be free to come to SB by the end of the episode?
@sjm: I still don’t think Regina would put Jefferson up to the kidnappings, simply because she wouldn’t want to risk him talking about FTL being real, especially to Emma. I think Regina suspects who Emma is based on her questioning Mr. Gold in episode 4 when he said “I think you know who she is” or something similar. Based on the episode description, Regina also seems to know all about the Mad Hatter being a powerful man of magic who can travel between Wonderland and FTL. I don’t think Regina would want someone as powerful as that interacting with Emma too much.
