I love that we are talking about an actual real scene from Lacey, not just speculation. 🙂 I agree completely that Rumple comes to Charming to get advice on how to win Belle’s heart, not to jog her memory. Charming is a pretty romantic guy – maybe he coaches Rumple on how to win Belle…”Are you asking me for dating advice?” “No, of course not.” This time it is a lot more significant than dating advice. But that advice helped a lot- “honesty of the heart.” I love the fact that Rumple is going to fight for Belle, just like she did for him. I think it is kind of huge that he is willing to admit to Charming that he needs help and that Belle is that important to him.
