I agree completely Hjbau. That’s kinda why i want him to just be another thief, it’s easier to say something just went sideways by accident then he was a total skeev.
Until I hear otherwise tomorrow, I kind of think they were pulling a job together and got separated. Emma waited longer than she should have for him and got caught. She thinks he just left her, but the real reasion he was late was that he went back to steal a ring (of THAT variety). I just have this mental picture of him standing in the meeting place looking at the ring in his hand and wondering why she wasn’t there.
