He would’ve at least tried to stick around for a bit longer for a development on ‘Pongo’s’ story…
You’re right, it is a little out of character for Henry to actually do as he’s told. Perhaps Henry is being teased or bullied at school? It would be a great way to introduce other kid characters and would explain why Henry is reluctant to have Emma walk him to school.. He’s the son of the saviour and the son of the evil queen so someone is bound to tease him about that fact because kids can be cruel. During the curse, everyone was afraid of Regina so Henry was probably left alone. Now that Regina is on the down and out and isn’t so evil anymore, other kids will probably start taking liberties. It would also give Henry something to do this season and potentially set him up to start wanting to use magic.
