Rumple wasn’t scared of Cora, in fact, when he said the real monster will be coming, he sort of smirked at Regina. I think to him it’s all a game and he might be just worried that Cora will change the rules of the game. I honestly don’t think he’s as far as ‘afraid’ of her.
