Geeze, I was re-watching ep 3 (I think) where PC traps SW after she steals his jewels & I noticed just how much Regina/EQ has really messed with her head (for a change Subtlety) as she was growing up!
She tells PC true love doesn’t exist 1st off.
Tells him royals are basically heartless bullies (this also fits with what she tells grumpy etc).
Marriage is Only about gaining riches ie business transactions & arranged marriages.
There’s no such thing as love at 1st sight or 1st kiss.

I knew Regina would have messed with her while she was raising her (I guess I just took it for granted that she would have taken opportunities to mess with her mind), but this really shows the lengths Regina went to ….. SW’s views are really set in this episode & despite her feelings she does fight them hard (like we see when red drops off her food), she also hesitates when PC offers her his arm to help balance while crossing the log etc.
I would like to see a little more of SW childhood with Regina as well as Emma’s in foster care/teenage stage as they may have had very similar up bringings when all’s said & done 😉
