I’m a Swanfire fan too – but I’m all for Emma dating around for awhile. But, I think it would be more effective for her growth, if she dated a stable adult male. Apparently very hard to find in Storybrooke and FTL but she needs to try having an adult relationship with someone who’s worked their issues out. Hook still has a lot of issues and (although we haven’t seen evidence yet on the show) has some pretty BIG issues to work through about children – let alone a vendetta to kill rooted in a lost love.
Again even though we haven’t actually seen it on the show, I am working under the assumption that he and Milha were very much in love if not each other’s true loves. The pain hasn’t seem to lessen after centuries for him – not saying he doesn’t have a chance of meeting someone new along the seasons to come but he has a ways to go before fans can start shipping him with anyone with/around children.
