The above is a very good idea depending on how they play it. In my mind Baelfire has to come into series 2 at some point, he is the missing piece.
It makes total sense for Baelfire to be Henry’s father, the likeness of the characters is obvious to those who have thought about this theory. Baelfire is very strong willed, opinionated and wants his father to be ‘good’. Henry is a few years younger than Baelfire, but still has these characteristics. Even the hair swings a nod in that direction.
You have to think that 28 years (Even more when you think about the period of time Rumplestiltskin took to make the spell) would have had an affect on Baelfire. He would not be the character we know on the screen, but a more hopeless, angry character who has had everything he knows ripped away from him.
We have to look at Jefferson. He is a man driven within an inch of his sanity, he see’s Regina as the reason he cannot go home and was drawn to Emma to make her find a way. Baelfire probably felt the same.
Here are the bits in my mind that are missing and i am curious as to how they will fill in the gaps
1) If Baelfire is Henry’s father, why did they end their relationship and why didnt baelfire persue it if he felt she could help him get back to his world?
This is a pivotal question and one which is quite hard to answer unless you line it up with the ‘Baelfire turns into a frog’ theory.
2) For Rumplestiltskin to pick up baby Henry, how did he know that the child was the saviours son? Assuming he has foreseen things, he must of known Henry was the only way to get Emma to Storybrooke. Is he aware Henry is his grandson?
The last question, im guessing not. It would be good for Rumple to have not foreseen this.
Because we do not know the nature of the world of ‘Once’ next season predictions are going to be incredibly difficult….Still fun though 😛
