i still think Bae is Henry’s father and i agree that there will be another love interest for Emma. So that when Bae does arrive in SB Emma will be involved with someone else. = more akward moments.
I’ve also be toying with the notion that instead of Bae being married/engaged, maybe Bae was going into the priesthood. He was still in the “priest-in-training” phase. Maybe Bae felt he needed to atone for his father.
Another notion of mine is that Bae was getting ready to depart for an overseas Peace Corps assignment. Maybe Emma didn’t want to hold him back from his dream by telling him he was a father.
