Owen- aka Greg- could have been running with August as a child/pre-teen (when a bunch of them left the orphanage together) & heard about this magical place in our world which August had come from, maybe he found a home eventually with Ben, changed his name to Greg & the rest is history 😉
It’s obvious now that August had some kind of magic available to him, since whatever shiny blue thing Neal glanced at, made him totally believe that August’s ‘magic is real & Emma’s destiny’ talk, were the real deal & not the crazy rantings of a lunatic, so August had to have found that somewhere- I wonder if he ran into Peter, since he & the others could have been considered ‘lost boys’ & got the magic from him- or was it Tink he showed Neal….. Oh man, the list of ‘what it could be’, is so long 😆
