And he’s stuck in this role but he probably cares about Tamara in a way and he also has to keep up the pretense of her protector or whatever and you can’t just say “Oh HAI THIS IS THE COMPLICATED THING” cuz then Tamara will be all “Huh?” so there’s something I think he knwos more of that we havent’ found out yet.
The phrase “It’s complicated” is almost a cliche phrase that people use when talking about romantic triangles. There’s even a movie along those lines, titled It’s complicated. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1230414/. So Neal’s “it’s compllicated” may actually not be THAT complex as some big conspiracy. But on this show…we never know!
Which would insinuate that he thinks he’s in a love triangle. This is when he’s first seen her after almost 11 years. You don’t tell your ex that you’ve just seen after a decade “It’s complicate” just to insinuate a love triangle…there’s more to it and honestly the spoilers out with Eddy’s answers about Tamara being involved in a love triangle and them skirting around how we’re going to love her part in the whole story and NEVER using the word love triangle or referencing her as interfering with the two, and the fact they are still saying the rest of this season is Neal and Emma figuring out “what now” with the fact they are both still in love with each other, tells me a very, very different story.
I agree with you dena81 especially after that exchange between Neal & Emma. It was obvious to me they both still love each other
