Interesting synopsis…I’m guessing that whatever “bad” thing Rumpel does that sets Belle off has to do with Hook arriving in town. Perhaps he is still hell-bent on revenge against Hook? Seems likely.
And yea, I hope the Belle-leaves-then-comes back thing doesn’t become a cycle. We already know that she is going to be in episodes 5,6,7(…or is it 6,7,8?)…not sure, I recall someone asking the writers about Belle’s character after her being M.I.A. for several episodes. Her re-appearance might happen in episode 5 and her presence probably remain until the mini-hiatus. So it’s safe to say that Belle *probably* doesn’t leave Gold? At least not permanently…unless she leaves and they give her another role/storyline away from Gold (ouh, let the Hook/Belle crack!theories begin!) 😆
ETA: Also, it was mentioned that Belle would take a “darker” tone with her character in season 2. Still unsure of what that could mean…
