Jolly Roger – I completely agree with you. However I am afraid that our definition of endgame and the writers definition of endgame could be two entirely different things. That’s my fear anyway.
I’d like to see them do something new and different and have Emma be a true product of FTL + our world and go for the choice that leaves Henry with all of his family in a non-traditional way just because that is real life. He’s lucky enough to have everybody in his life to begin with now. I really really hope that we get longterm CaptainSwan but I’m not going to stop worrying until they have both clearly moved on.
Emma is a NEW fairy tale character so on the bright side there’s isn’t anything that says she must with (insert name here) like most of the rest of the characters. Emma being the product of true love was important but she was born in FTL where things are a little different. Hopefully they don’t make it so that Henry is too so that we’re stuck. I’m kinda enjoying the fact that Emma can be with whomever and we can watch it unfold as a new fairy tale rather than all the ones we know have to end up together eventually. It’s refreshing and frankly I think SwanFire undermines that whole idea a little bit. I can see why they’d go there but I refuse to give up hope.
Oh and I think it’s that “smug” has a negative connotation perhaps? They definitely looked like they knew something and I was jumping for joy. *Fingers crossed we get lots of CaptainSwan goodness out of it!*
PS: Does anybody know where I can find a great Hook icon/avatar that isn’t being used by anyone else? With as much as I have to try to defend him I might as well use him as my pic!
I agree, especially with Emma being a ‘new’ fairytale character. It certainly does make it interesting.
As for the avatar, I just go on google images for my pictures etc. so I don’t really know.

Ohh.. that’s what they meant. It depends on the context it’s used. Haha don’t worry I didn’t mean it in a bad way, definately not! If you go back to the video, you’ll see especially the directors when they were talking about Hook/Emma they had smug smirks on their faces. They were enjoying themselves because they know a lot of big things we don’t concerning Hook/Emma 😀
