Hook is Public Domain.
They had a problem getting rights for Peter Pan.
And my question was more concerning the part where you stated that the writers try to please everyone and do what the fans want.
I don’t think they ever said that.
They tell the story their way.
If they did what the fans want, it would be one huge, convoluted fanfic and I would not watch it.
I want the story K&H want to tell, not the story the fans want to tell.
