Me too – I think it’s unusual that there isn’t any interview there right now?! I was hoping there’d be interviews with Colin for the upcoming episode… 😥
Neal showed that he could move on and even though he said that he was too scared etc etc…he relished in the fact that Emma was basically jealous and would have been interested in something possibly after they talked through stuff a bit and she understood what happened…
This is what I’m thinking, too. He seemed to enjoy that Emma was jealous and thats just mean, if you ask me. Also it bothers me that it wouldn’t be realistic at all if they got back together – well I had the experience, and I think maaaaaany people had the same, that going back to your ex never bodes well. Because there was a reason you separated and you’re not the same you were back than. That maybe a little different with Emma and Neil but I still think that they’re holding onto old feelings – which are still there and will probably never go away, but they are just not right and not enough to dive into a relationship again.
I’m just a little worried because they went so FAR with SwanFire and to a point where there isn’t a happy way to show CS this season really. Literally the best we can hope for is to find Hook doing the right thing, helping the good guys, and comforting / commiserating with Emma over her perceived loss that could be a loss to him as well depending on how close they were, and worst/best case scenario is he can relate because of Milah. I’m hoping for some serious comforting scenes laying the groundwork at least for a great friendship.
Maybe that is a good thing. Hook and Emma will have lots of time together without Neil next season and Emma can see the real Killian and that she likes him – and maybe more. I hope it’s our turn for at least the first 5 to 6 episodes in season 3, to see CS blossom and develop. And then I think Neil will show up again and there will be the love triangle – what’s happening then I don’t know. Emma should choose which one she’s happier with – and if I can really believe that, than it’s ok for me.

On the plus side they do seem to love the character as well as Colin so hopefully that means super awesome stuff will be down the line for Hook. (After all they talked more about him at PaleyFest than they did about Neal who wasn’t even there and was barely asked about except in regards to his relationship with Rumple which is the main thing I focus on with him anyway). Please let that mean that they want to show us all kinds of wonderful Hook goodness in S3 but that they had to set it up the way they did to get us there!
Eddy and Adam stated multiple times that they love Hook and I don’t think they’ll let him go very fast. So I’m sure he’ll be there whole season 3.
It’s just that Emma and Hook have so much chemistry – it’d be wasted if they paired them off with others… Many people said that Hook flirts with every woman but it’s obviously different! Emma is the only one he’s interested in – he feels drawn towards her and she will be drawn towards him when the time is right. They had only met for a day or so (?) before climbing on the beanstalk and she had developed feelings for him in this little time – or she wouldn’t have left him up there. So I think if she really opens up to him and let’s him in after some time she’d be lost.
He would do anything for her – “A man unwilling to fight for what he wants, deserves what he gets.” – That’s it. He wants her and he’ll fight for her no matter what costs.
And if anyone brings Henry in it – he would LOVE Hook and you know it. 😉 And Hook would love Henry as well and not only because he’s just like Emma in some situations.
It’s gonna be a looooong hard summer, but as long as it pays off it’s worth it. And I HOPE it will.
