Yeah, I was thinking that either Gold or Regina put the key in the cell with Mary-Margaret. Both have their agendas for putting the key there. But, heck, it could be someone totally unexpected who put it there. I think we can rule out Emma. Emma really wants to uphold the law, so I don’t see her wanting to do anything to harm Mary-Margaret’s case. Could August be a possibility? He seems to know all. How he would have sneaked into the station to do that, I don’t know. But Gold and Regina are probably the most likely. The Henry theory’s a great one too.
