Going after Baelfire would be the most logical choice. Rumple would protect Belle and Belle would let him whereas Bae wouldn’t want anything to do with Rumple and would therefore be an easier target.
How many times has Rumple been to see Archie? There was once in the Return when Rumple just needed someone to talk to but he doesn’t appear to have been since. Archie hasn’t really got much information on Rumple besides the fact he has a son whereas he has a lot more information on Regina.
