However, that doesn’t mean Rumple isn’t the person who brought him up. Bae perceived him as a father – does one need much more than that? Is Regina not Henry’s mom just because she didn’t give him birth? Whether those theories are true or not, I don’t think they are worth exploring, because it really is all down to how we see things rather than what they actually are. Bae might be a ‘bastard son’ (Jon Snow anyone? 😆 ) but Rumple loves him no matter the blood connections.

Oh, I agree that Rumple would love Bae no matter what, but if they did decide to make Regina, Rumple’s biological daughter, I think they might as well go all in and go through with Bae not really being his biological son. I really hope both story lines don’t happen though.

First, I hate the idea of Regina being Rumple’s real daughter because there’s a lot of tension there between Rumple and Regina even though they’ve never acted on it that we know of, and I think it would be disturbing if it turned out they were actually father/daughter. It could work on another show that wasn’t on ABC on at 8:00 on Sunday, but I’d rather they just not go there. Plus, while it would create more connections between the characters, even I who am a fan of Neal being Baelfire, thinks that it would be overkill. I think it’s enough that Regina is one of Henry’s moms and Snow’s former stepmother without having to make her Bae’s half-sister too. Finally, MRJ looks so much like Robert Carlyle in some pictures, and Jared Gilmore looks like he could be a really young Robert Carlyle in pictures that are floating around of Carlyle around the same age, that it’s hard to for me to believe that Bae really isn’t Rumple’s son.

But previously he seemed afraid of Cora (when Regina asked him for help with bringing MM and Emma back from FTL), saying how powerful she is blah blah. Would he be trying to help Cora all along? Knowing it would happen anyway and psyching people up about Cora and scaring them, including Regina but inside smiling to himself?

Well, I don’t think he’ll reach the point yet with new Belle to understand that he has a chance to win her if he can really change. I think he’ll finally get it when he finds Nealfire and is forced to face the consequences of what using Dark Magic has done. So I think right now even though we see some signs of him trying to change for Belle’s sake in “The Outsider”, but mostly because she was around at the time, I can definitely see him reverting to old ways. He might see it as a win-win situation for him by making a deal with Cora. He either gets protection for himself/Belle or something that might lead to Belle getting her memories back, and something bad happens to Regina since his Wraith plan failed. (Hee, I wonder since the Giant can come through if Regina should be worried that the Wraith will come through too. Maybe Regina getting her soul sucked out will be the season finale.)
