Yeah, I’m guessing that Mr. Gold temporarily loses his FTL memories when he takes off his enchanted talesman. Yet, he probably remembers he is Rumpel when he puts the scarf back on.

Yeah maybe he thinks that’s James. I would like to see some past story (or at least one scene) about the Giant wars, Jack etc. I hope that they give us many scenes with Rumple out of town. I wonder how he’ll react to be on a plane. 😀 Will he get nervous? 🙂

I don’t think James, Charming’s brother, was Jack, since he was traded as a baby to be King George’s son in a deal Charming’s father made with Rumplestiltskin. I won’t rule it out though, since Jack is an obvious nickname for James. But maybe Charming is Jack! 😮 In the original fairytale of “Jack and the Beanstalk,” Jack and his mother, a widow, were poor famers who traded their one cow for some magic beans. Sounds a lot like Charming and his widow mother in 1×6 “The Shepherd.” Also, in an interview, Josh Dallas said he’d really like to see that fairytale on “Once.” Also, we’re supposed to find out Charming’s real name this episode! However, we saw the remains of Jack at the castle in 2×6, so I’m a bit confused. Perhaps the person had stolen Jack’s sword and it was a case of mistaken identity.

I agree. Regina must know there was a history between Charming and the giant, so she and Cora use magic to bring over the giant in miniature form, because the giant wants revenge to kill Charming!
