Given that as far as Storybrooke, Maine’s laws are concerned, Regina is his legal mother and Emma has no custody rights. The writers seem to be avoiding the obvious dilemma here – sooner or later the folks of Storybrooke have to click that their feudal customs are totally inconsistent with the rest of the Western world.
ARE we sure that the adoption was legal… I think we are going to find some shenanigans and the adoption was less then legal….. Let us not forget that at 10 years old going on 30 Henry will have his own ideas of who he wants to live with. KIDS get very definite ideas of who they love the most and who they want to be with…. at some point the LEGAL system takes that into a account.
