I was going to agree with that, but started thinking more into it – it actually wouldn’t be an anticlimax at all, as long as they kept Bae’s story in his flashback as the young boy, without revealing who he is when he’s grown up, Neal or no Neal. In the end we all know Rumple is looking for him in this episode, so it would be interesting to show parallel scenes when both Rumplestiltskin AND young Bae are discovering the city (Mr Gold has never been there either) and maybe even end up in the same locations at some points.
