Perhaps later stories, like Hook where Wendy grew up and eventually Peter left NL to be with her granddaughter and the like did try to establish something like that but it was in the original (and Hook isn’t a Disney film so they don’t have the rights to it, though they could play with the themes behind it). This is exactly what i was thinking. Given the amount of MOMMY ISSUES some of these characters have, I think that might be the clue to determining who Pan is.
Pan was interested in love with Wendy, he brought her to NL to be a mother – to make pockets and tell stories.
Baelfire has mommy issues. Henry has double mommy issues (though i hope his beef with Emma is settled).
If being the Pan is like a position in Neverland, I’m thinking Henry will be the next Pan like his father before him.
