Well, I don’t think there was any circumstance that would keep Rumple from setting sail. He didn’t go to NL because of the blood/globe thing, he went to honor Bae because he believes he is dead.
As to the globe and Emma: that’s a good point but I think it’s just a parallel thing. Rumple found Bae using it, now he’ll use it to find Henry.
