But, you’re doing the same thing but on the opposite side. You’re excusing his actions without knowing the full story.

I thought it was VERY obvious from August’s look when he saw the money that he pocketed it because he has issues with temptation. You could basically SEE the dollar signs in his eyes. I thought it interesting that after listening to the official podcast, Eddy and Adam basically confirmed my suspicions… that August did indeed take the money and that’s what funded his trip to Phuket.

It’s called benefit of the doubt. By your reasoning, if you were a judge, you probably would have killed more innocent men than evil men without knowing the full story. I don’t know about you, but I’d rather mistakenly let a guilty man go free than to mistakenly have an innocent man locked up and/or executed.

And in no way am I excusing what he was responsible for with Emma going to prison, but Neal is just as guilty, he could have said no, that there are other ways, but he didn’t. Why does August have to be the one burned at the stake and not Neal?

I’m also contemplating that Emma did indeed, live in a nice apartment in Boston, seemed to be well off to come to Storybrooke and decide to stay without a real job, had no problem paying back the bond money to MM…….You see my end? Benefit of the doubt. For all we know, maybe he did send the money to the prison, but the guard took it. Ever think about that?
