The London portion of Peter Pan was fictional too, so why wouldn’t it be its’ own world? The concept of these classic stories being a hybrid between real world and fictional settings would make my head spin for many reasons.
This is something I’ve often wondered about, because the fact that all of these stories somehow made their way into our world means there must be a connection of some sort between the “fictional” worlds and our world. So characters like the Darlings, and Alice, and Dorothy being actual real world people from real world places who got wrapped up in adventures in magical lands doesn’t seem out of the question IMO.
But if this place we see Bae in is actual real world London, then it means Neal straight up lied to Emma, (and through Neal, K&H straight up lied to the viewers), that our world wasn’t the first one he went to. For that reason, I’ve gotta think that what we’ve seen in the previews isn’t real world London.
If Bae really did go to London first, then that at least clears up the confusion for why the bean wouldn’t have sent him to his planned destination. That was a particular issue I had back when it was revealed that Neal had been to Neverland. Of course now this could lead to another frustrating question! All answers leading to more questions seems to be a trend on this show!
