Wow, loving the thoughts here. Rumplrgoldfan, I LOVE your idea of not knowing who the character is and having no purpose yet not being able to leave.
I think Kathryn didn’t notice Fredrick in StoryBrooke because she was so angry and on the hurt and distructive path in the school. What we are seeing is that Ragina no longer has control over the town like she did in the beginning causing her to become nervous and angry. Remember what she told Sidney, “Do you know what I do to things that have no use, I throw them away.”. Kathryn serves her no use anymore.
