Someone tweeted Jane Espenson about Dr. Frankenstein being based on a real person and how could they use a real person for a OUAT character.
Her response is quite interesting. She stated that Dracula was based on a real person, Hook drew from legends of real pirates, and Alice in Wonderland was based on Alice Lydell.
Why mention Dracula? I’m thinking that my theory of Frankie’s black & white world being Transylvania may be on the money 😉 Our favourite horror story character could be coming to SB sometime in the future.
