Interesting. Sometimes I’m also annoyed by the good guys (like Snow and Charming) because their goodness is so often in your face. I remember being really irritated right before Charming went down the hole to save Anton, he and Snow stopped to talk about their goodness and have a little kissing scene. I was like, “yes I know. You’re saving him because that’s what you people do. Just go do it!” Charming is prone to over the top speeches about valor and honor, but that’s what makes him the romantic hero. I don’t hate them at all, but glad they made Snow the one who tricked Regina, because her character needs to be more nuanced lest she become a cliche or boring.
