I really love the candle thing to save Rumple but killing Cora. It would a great story AND you could do so much with Snow as a killer and Rumple without magic, and going into the season finale with those two being so different from this season and the previous season, it would make for fantastic watching. This is now my favorite theory.
But I do think Archie’s clock is ticking.
