About Jefferson’s wife: he says that he stopped travelling&using the hat, because he lost her. So yeah, something must have happened. He says he used to do business. I got the feeling that he travelled to the different world’s to get things for people, like Regina.
Also – no foundation for this theory, just a thought –, maybe his wife was Alice. ^.^ I don’t think his daughter is Alice, ’cause she’s already got two names.
