My original thought was that the flashback could be to Neal landing in FTL, and then they cut to the JR arriving in NL. But the flashback being Henry’s birth, and seeing him taken away from Emma, would fit well into the start of the quest to get him back. And would have us all emotionally wrecked from the very first minute of the ep.
